Who it's for
- Junior civil and mechanical engineers and EITs who specify or review pumping, lift station and sewer rehabilitation work.
- Water and wastewater operators who want practical hydraulics they can use in the field.
- Contractors, project managers, estimators and field technicians who set up, run and troubleshoot bypass and dewatering systems.
- Engineers looking for structured continuing-education hours.
What you'll be able to do
- Convert between pressure, head and elevation, and read suction and discharge gauges correctly.
- Calculate pipe friction and fitting losses for HDPE, steel and hose.
- Calculate total dynamic head and build a system curve.
- Read a pump curve and find the operating point and best efficiency point.
- Calculate NPSH available and judge suction-lift and cavitation risk.
- Choose between standard, self-priming and priming-assisted pumps.
- Apply the affinity laws and predict parallel and series pump performance.
- Estimate sewer flows for bypass sizing, then plan, commission and troubleshoot a bypass system.

FAQ
When does the course launch?
We are building it now. Waitlist members hear first and get founding pricing before public launch.
Do I need a hydraulics background?
No. You need high-school algebra and a calculator. Module 1 starts from pressure, head and units.
Metric or US units?
Both. Examples are worked in metric and US units, and the tools switch between them.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a certificate of completion listing the hours for each module. You can use it to support your own continuing-education records. No endorsement or approval by any licensing body or association is claimed.
Is the content tied to a pump manufacturer?
No. Pump System Design is independent. Examples are generic and apply to any manufacturer's equipment.
Can my team take it together?
Yes. Team access with progress reporting is planned. Join the waitlist and mention your team size when we follow up.
Is this engineering advice?
No. The course is educational. Designs should be checked by a qualified professional; see the disclaimer.
